True Nano H₂ — Molecular Hydrogen Capsules

The core formula, and the one to start with. One capsule generates 2mg of molecular hydrogen — not from stored gas, but from a reaction with your own stomach acid. No glass of water, no fizzing tablet, nothing to time.

  • Generates 2mg of molecular hydrogen from your own stomach acid
  • 49mg of magnesium per capsule — 15% of the Daily Value
  • Selective antioxidant activity — targets hydroxyl radicals
  • Supports cellular energy production and healthy oxidative balance
  • No mixing, no dissolving, no timing a glass of water
  • Odourless and tasteless — easy to swallow
  • Made in the USA in an FDA-registered, cGMP facility

Ships from Amazon. Best for: Anyone starting with molecular hydrogen, and anyone currently using dissolvable H₂ tablets who is tired of the routine.

About True Nano H₂

Molecular hydrogen (H₂) is the smallest molecule that exists — roughly 176 times smaller than a vitamin C molecule. That size is the entire point. It is small enough to diffuse across cell membranes and reach compartments inside the cell that larger antioxidant molecules simply cannot enter, including the mitochondria where most oxidative stress originates.

What makes H₂ unusual among antioxidants is that it is selective. Broad-spectrum antioxidants scavenge indiscriminately, which is a problem because some reactive species are signalling molecules your body needs. Molecular hydrogen preferentially targets the hydroxyl radical — the most destructive of the reactive oxygen species — while leaving beneficial signalling molecules alone. Its only metabolic byproduct is water.

Delivery has always been the hard part, and it is worth being precise about how these products actually work: no hydrogen supplement contains stored hydrogen gas. They generate it. The reaction is magnesium plus acid — Mg + 2H⁺ → Mg²⁺ + H₂ — and the only real question is where that reaction is allowed to happen.

A dissolvable tablet brings its own food-grade acid so it can react in a glass of water. That works, but it means the hydrogen is produced on your counter, in an open vessel, and it begins escaping immediately. True Nano H₂ brings no acid at all. It uses the hydrochloric acid already in your stomach, so the reaction runs at the point of absorption rather than in the kitchen. Nothing is lost to the room because nothing exists until it is already inside you.

The label reflects this directly: 2mg of molecular hydrogen and 49mg of magnesium per capsule. The magnesium is not filler — it is the reactant, and once it has given up its electrons it is left as bioavailable Mg²⁺, which is the only form the body can absorb. You get the hydrogen and you get 15% of your daily magnesium from the same capsule.

What is on the label

Straight from the Supplement Facts panel, not our summary of it. The magnesium is the reactant that generates the hydrogen in your stomach — which is why it appears on the label as a nutrient in its own right.

Frequently asked questions

How much hydrogen does one capsule actually deliver?

Each capsule produces 2mg of molecular hydrogen in the stomach, and that figure is printed on the Supplement Facts panel alongside 49mg of magnesium. Stating the dose in milligrams matters: much of this category advertises in ppm, which is a concentration and tells you nothing without the serving size. Milligrams per serving is the number that actually describes what you get.

Can I take this alongside my other supplements?

Molecular hydrogen is not known to interfere with other supplements, and it pairs naturally with the rest of the True Nano line. As with any supplement, if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or managing a health condition, talk to your healthcare provider first.

How is a hydrogen capsule different from a dissolvable hydrogen tablet?

Both work by the same chemistry — magnesium reacting with acid to generate hydrogen gas (Mg + 2H⁺ → Mg²⁺ + H₂). The difference is where that reaction happens. A dissolvable tablet carries its own acid, so it reacts in a glass of water on your counter, and hydrogen starts escaping into the air immediately because H₂ is the smallest molecule there is. A True Nano H₂ capsule carries no acid — it uses the hydrochloric acid already in your stomach, so the hydrogen is generated inside you, at the point of absorption. There is nothing to mix, nothing to time, and nothing lost to the room.

Can I just open the capsule and mix it into water?

No, and it will not work the way you expect. The reaction needs acid. Magnesium reacts only slowly with neutral water, because it quickly forms a magnesium hydroxide layer on its surface that stalls the reaction — that passivation is exactly why dissolvable tablets have to include their own food-grade acid to work in a glass. Stomach acid strips that layer and drives the reaction properly. Open the capsule into water and you get a slow, incomplete reaction, and whatever hydrogen does come off escapes into the air instead of into you. Swallow the capsule.

When should I take it?

One to two capsules, one to three times daily, with or without food. Many people prefer the morning for daytime energy support, or roughly 30 minutes before training when they are using it around exercise. There is no loading phase.

Does molecular hydrogen have a taste or smell?

No. Molecular hydrogen is odourless and tasteless, and the capsules are designed to be easy to swallow. This is one of the practical advantages over hydrogen water, which some people find flat or metallic depending on the source water.

Where are these made?

In the USA, in an FDA-registered facility operating under Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards.
